Celtic Fest - Jackson TN

The Celtic Society of West Tennessee is a Non-Profit Organization with a goal to enlighten interests and to share the knowledge of Celtic heritage and it's historical culture through meetings, social gatherings, and charitable events.

It is for the benefit of all who participate to find their Celtic family origins, gain good fellowship, and to keep the arts & crafts of our ancestors alive and flourishing.

We also believe that it is our civic duty to raise awareness of those in our community who are less fortunate. Therefore, in holding our annual Celtic Fest we help to raise contributions for a charitable cause in the community each year.

Our organization is based in Jackson, TN. We are in our fourth year of progress and very proud to say that we have a great team of members that work hard at putting this all together.

We are the Celtic Society of West Tennessee and hope that you will join us in this venture.

The Oklahoma Scottish Festival would like to say a big thank you for supporting us once again, during rain, torrential downpours and lots of mud you came out.

We hope you were not too disappointed and understand why we had to close early on Saturday evening, the decision was not made lightly and was made for safety reasons.

We all had a great time, and will do it all again next year, bigger and better!

We look forward to seeing you all back for our 30th Anniversary year, 2009!

    Stone Mountain Highland Games

Since 1972, the picturesque grounds of the Stone Mountain Park meadow, a short drive northeast of Atlanta, Georgia, have resounded with the sounds of bagpipes, fiddles and harps during the third weekend in October.

This year once again, thousands of Scots (even those that wish to be 'Scot for the Day') from around the world will don their family tartans and gather to greet old friends and make new ones too.

Come, join us under the beautiful autumn skies of north Georgia for a truly fabulous weekend!
